Timothy F. Harris


I am an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at Illinois State University. My current research analyzes the impact of SNAP work requirements, the influence of third-party reporting on tax compliance, and adverse selection in life insurance markets. My research has been published or is forthcoming in Economic Inquiry, Journal of Risk and Insurance, Economics Letters, Applied Economics, Journal of Housing Economics, and Contemporary Economic Policy. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Kentucky in 2017.
